With over 20 years of experience in international psychiatry, Julie has been practising psychiatry in
Australia since 2005. She has held a range of senior medical positions in medical administration in
mental health services across Australia.
Julie professional appointments have included the position of Adjunct Lecturer (teaching psychiatry
for the Monash University Medical School and examining Year 4 medical students), an active role in
supervision and mentoring psychiatrists, and in GP education. Julie conducts extensive research in
digital transitions and safety, including personal data privacy and storage. Her other roles include
AMA Council Representative and Member of the Avant Advisory Membership Forum.
In addition to a Master’s Degree in Medicine and a specialty in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry, Julie
holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and a degree in Global Executive Master of Business
Administration from the world-ranked International School for Management Development, IMD
(Lausanne, Switzerland). Julie is the founder and director of Inter-Health-Domain, international
healthcare company which focuses on digital safety and global coverage of healthcare services for
professionals, both in their home countries and abroad.
In her clinical practice, Julie specialises in working with patients who are professionals, business
people or students pursuing a career. She is based, and practises in Richmond and operates in both
the inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical interests include ADHD, eating disorders, mood
and anxiety disorders. Julie's niche of particular interest, expertise and research is in the area of
fitness, nutrition and health restoration in high-functioning patients with psychiatric and medical co-
morbidities.
In her private life Julie cherishes her family, art and sport. She is a keen skier and a runner. She is
fond of her time spent on watercolour painting and sand sculpting as well as on chocolate making
and baking Viennese cakes.
